Evelyne Platnic-Cohen
Founder and CEO of Booster Academy

Evelyne is the founder of Booster Academy, centres which dispense intensive training courses in selling techniques and which are a tremendous success with commercial brands and small and medium sized businesses. Prior to this, from 1989 to 2002, she was a Commercial Director with Vivendi. She is a member of entrepreneurial networks such as Croissance Plus, G20Yes des Entrepreneurs and also hosts a TV show “BFM Académie”, on the TV channel BFM Business with the famous French journalist, Nicolas Doze.

Holder of a degree in Economics, at the age of 22, just two years after joining Vivendi, Evelyne Platnic Cohen was nominated best salesman of the year in 1991. She then rose in the Company to become Sales Manager then Commercial Director in 2002. Using her experience and competence in sales, she founded Memento Conseil, an institute specializing in selling techniques and management which today numbers over 50 consultants. In 2008 she founded Booster Academy, the first centre dispensing intensive training courses in selling techniques.

Winner of the BFM Académie TV show prize in June 2009 for the most innovative company, she devotes all her time and energy to promoting her concept. These efforts were rewarded in 2011 when she was awarded the prize for the most innovative training course in the “Nuit de la Formation Professionnelle” event and won the OSEO 2011 Prize for the most innovative project.

Evelyne Platnic Cohen is the author of several books : “La vente opérationnelle aux grands comptes” (Operational sales for key accounts) in June 2002, Editions EMS, and “Vendre aux grands comptes et aux comptes stratégiques” (Selling Techniques for key and strategic accounts) in October 2005, Editions EMS, now being re-edited, “Le Pouvoir de Vendre” (Sales power) in September 2011, “I love Business” in February 2012 and “Nous sommes tous des vendeurs” (We are all salesmen) in January 2013, Editions Eyrolles. Passionate about sales and business, she also speaks at numerous conferences. Mentored by both men and women who have helped her evolve in her professional career, she has now become a mentor herself, assisting young entrepreneurs to forge ahead and realize their projects and to understand the world of business.
